The National Renewable Energy Laboratory is focused on transforming energy through research and development for renewable energy and energy efficient technologies. They advance science and engineering of energy efficient sustainable transportation.

In April 2021, SolarSteam was invited to present at the 26th Annual NREL Industry Growth Forum as one of the 40 companies chosen to present their cleantech innovations to potential investors out of 150+ applicants. NBIF

The New Brunswick Innovation Fund (NBIF) is a private VC firm focused on research and capital funding. NBIF invests in high-potential, innovative companies who have differentiated themselves from their competition and grown a solid base, and who have plans to grow their business operations on a global scale.


SUPPORT

NBIF awarded $50,000 investment to SolarSteam through its Early Stage Commercialization Fund (ESCF) given its technology’s market readiness and high potential for attracting industry partners and investors.

RED DEER POLYTECHNIC

 Red Deer Polytechnic’s CIM-TAC houses $4.2M in prototype and advanced manufacturing equipment, including 3D printers and laser scanning technologies. CIM-TAC technicians can help users problem solve, engineer designs, create 3D models and fabricate prototypes.

 Red Deer Polytechnic’s CIM-TAC team supported SolarSteam with design optimization and fabrication of specific system components for SolarSteam’s alpha-prototype. All design and manufacturing IP related to this project is owned by SolarSteam.
